Privacy

Short version: your catalogue stays on your computer, there is no server, and the only thing we ever receive is what you send us yourself.
Where your data lives
Your catalogue, photos, descriptions, prices and settings are stored on your own computer, in the program's own folder. They are not copied anywhere else. Uninstalling the program or deleting that folder removes them, and nothing of it remains with us — because it was never with us.
There is no server and no cloud
Shelfmirror has no account to sign into and no service behind it. The program talks to eBay to fetch your own listings, and the Chrome extension talks to Facebook in your own browser, using your own sessions. Nothing passes through us on the way.
That is also why the program keeps working the same on a computer that is offline from everything except eBay and Facebook.
What we receive
Only what you send yourself, and only by writing to us:
- the name your key should be issued in;
- the email address you write from, so the key can be sent back;
- anything else you choose to put in your message.
That is the whole list. The program does not report usage, does not check in, and does not send us your catalogue or your listings.
Payment
Payments are handled by PayPal. Card numbers, bank details and everything else you enter on their side stay with them — we never see them. What reaches us from a payment is the confirmation and the contact details PayPal shows the seller.
This page
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and stores nothing in your browser. Your answers in the six-question quiz stay in the page and are not sent anywhere.
We do not share anything
Your name, your address and your messages are not sold, rented, or passed to anyone. There are no partners, no mailing lists and no advertising networks involved.
Deleting your correspondence
Write and ask, and the emails and messages between us will be deleted. No form and no reason needed. Two honest caveats: it is done by hand, so no deadline is promised, and a record of the payment itself stays with PayPal, where their own rules apply, not ours.
